Spooky Season is ON at the Ren!
This October, get into the Halloween spirit at the Renaissance Theatre with The Silence of the Lambs, the classic Nosferatu accompanied live by the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show on Halloween night! The 2026 Field of Monsters Painting Exhibition is on the horizon at The Phoenix Brewing Company! The exhibition opens Thursday, October 1 at 3 PM and runs through Sunday, November 1, with artwork available to view during regular business hours.
Come check out the monsters at the casual “Meet the Monsters” Opening Reception on October 1 from 4–6 PM. Then, come back for the Closing Reception & Auction on November 1 at 4 PM! Sip, stroll, and discover some seriously spooky local art!
Open Mic Night – Share Your Talent!
Join The 101 Tea Company on Friday, October 2nd at 5 PM for an unforgettable night of creativity, expression, and community vibes at their Open Mic Night! Whether you’re a singer, poet, comedian, musician, or just love a good performance—this is your stage. Want to Perform? Sign-ups are available at the door—spots are first come, first served! Mansfield, get ready! Saturday, October 3 from 1–6 PM, Salon Vivacé is bringing Halloween vibes, fall shopping, and 30+ amazing Ohio vendors to downtown Mansfield! Come shop handmade goods, boutique finds, treats, services, and more while enjoying a festive fall atmosphere. Admission is free, and the first 100 guests will receive a free swag bag! It’s back! The Richland Young Professionals 2026 Putt N’ Crawl is taking over downtown Mansfield on Saturday, October 3rd!
Grab a team of four, throw on your wildest themed outfits, and get ready to putt your way through 9 holes at some of your favorite local bars, restaurants, and businesses.
Compete for Best Score. Bring it for Best Costume. Get creative for Best Team Name!

Dare to Explore the Phoenix?
Hauntings, legends, and local lore come alive this October at The Phoenix Brewing Company! Your ghostly guide will take you through the historic 1914 mortuary-turned-brewery, sharing chilling stories, hidden secrets, strange encounters, and cool facts along the way.
Your adventure starts with a pint of liquid courage and a branded glass to take home! 👻 Tours are available October 11, 18, 25, and 31, with tickets starting at $20 per person. Halloween night tours are $30 and include some extra treats!
Grab your walking shoes, bring a flashlight if you’d like, and get ready to discover the secrets of Mansfield’s most spirited brewery. Construction Crawl 5K -The Final Stretch!
Lace up for the Construction Crawl 5K on Saturday, October 24, presented by Katana Fitness Center, while supporting local businesses and our downtown community! The race starts at 1 PM, and registration is $30 with a t-shirt included. Proceeds benefit JAG Healthcare of Mansfield and help support activities for residents. After the race, keep the fun going with a Halloween party at The Phoenix Brewing Co. featuring additional vendors and festivities into the evening! Register by October 14 to secure your t-shirt! Halloween is Taking Over Downtown!
Bring the kids downtown on Saturday, October 31 for a spooktacular day of Halloween fun! The Halloween Parade kicks off at 10 AM, starting at the 5-way light at Marion Avenue and Park Avenue West, with plenty of floats and Halloween fun along the way.
After the parade, head to Central Park for trick-or-treating, then keep the fun going with Downtown Trick or Treat from 11 AM–12 PM! Local businesses will be opening their doors and handing out candy, so grab your friends, bring the family, and come dressed in your favorite costume for a festive Halloween celebration downtown!
