2010 Carrousel District Farmer's MarketDowntown Mansfield, Inc. and Richland Bank are proud to announce that the 2010 Carrousel District Farmer's Market season will begin on Friday May 28. The market will be located on Fourth Street, in front of Richland Carrousel Park between Main and Walnut every Friday from 9:00am until 2:00pm through October 1. The Carrousel District Farmer's Market gives growers and producers of agricultural commodities alternative marketing opportunities and promotes the sale of locally grown produce. The market also provides an opportunity for farmers and people from urban communities to deal directly with each other, allowing consumers to better understand the benefits of purchasing quality, locally grown or prepared food products. The market will feature local produce and herbs, as well as handcrafted items created by local artisans. Vendor space is still available. The Ohio Directions Card is accepted. Farmer's Market Vendor OpportunitiesDMI is currently accepting applications for the 2010 Carrousel District Farmer's Market season. The market will be open every Friday starting May 28 through October 1 from 9:00am until 2:00pm. The market is located on Fourth Street in front of the Richland Carrousel Park between Main and Walnut Street. Spaces are $1 per day or as little as $10 annually for a 10x10 space.
