Co-Op Advertising: Members have the opportunity to take advantage of discounted advertising rates from local print, radio and online media sources. Additionally members are offered the exclusive opportunity to participate in the Pony Express and downtown sponsorship opportunities. Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies: DMI in conjunction with the Mayor and the Chamber of Commerce provide all of the materials necessary for ribbon cutting, including distribution of press releases to all local media outlets. Cohesive Marketing Materials: DMI actively seeks to promote the downtown as a regional destination. DMI utilizes a consistent image campaign and provides brochures and maps free to members, regional attractions and area hotels. Website and Social Networking: DMI believes in the presence of the web and remains current on the trends of viral marketing. DMI maintains a well polished website and mobisite and offers members additional opportunities through online platforms including facebook, Twitter and Change.org.
