Attractions   The City of Mansfield plays host to many events and attractions including World Class Racing and traveling Broadway theatre groups. In 2004, Mansfield hosted the first NASCAR race in the state of Ohio in over 50 years and also welcomed both Presidential Candidates Senator John Kerry and President George W. Bush. Downtown Mansfield supports a variety of attractions including the first new hand carved Carrousel since the early 1930's, The Historic Renaissance Theatre and The Mansfield Community Playhouse. Downtown also attracts visitors to the original Carnegie Mansfield Area Public Library, The historic Ohio Reformatory and the recently televised Squirrel's Den.
